How to build rc boat?
I have a school project which I have to spend 100 hours on. I was thinking of building a radio-control boat from A to Z. I want to list everything I will need in order to build both the boat, the controller and the electric system along with the approximatif price of all. I'd like a ``how to build`` plan too if possible.
Creating a plan is part of a project. So, asking us to do all the planning for you is a major cheating.
Do the plan yourself; research components and kits,make time estimates, etc. Then, if you get stuck, do ask for help.
Assume you will buy the electronics "ready" (It is too hard and stupid to create them from scratch) . Assembling a boat will take just a few hours.
RC Tanks - Keeping A Childs Interest
Children today have many demands and desires in respect to their wishes for the latest toys and technology. RC tanks, RC toys, RC boats are all in fashion one day and out the next. When choosing a child's toy especially an RC toy consider something with longevity such as a radio controlled tank with educational benefits. Typically remote control tanks are made of simple components allowing a battery operated radio control model to be operated by a transmitter which broadcasts control inputs to the RC tank via the remote control.
RC tanks have shooting turrets and range from miniature in size to the hugely ridiculous! But don't be fooled into thinking that radio controlled tanks are just for kids.. There are many serious radio control enthusiasts who take great time and effort in building scale models which are simply stunning! Possibly, the detailing of these types radio control tanks are not suited to smaller children given the huge effort and time dedicated to the detailing of these radio controlled models. However, there are many remote control tanks out there which combine scale detail with RC toy functionality and fun factor.
The most popular scaling of RC tanks is usually outlined but not limited to the following rations 1:16, 1:24, 1:30 and 1:35. There are many radio controlled tanks built which full outside of this range but generally these are the most popular found in radio control model shops. Every aspect of a remote control tank is scaled even down to the firing range of the turret.. For instance a 1:16 RC tank could expect to fire in the range of 25 - 50 feet in distance. This is comparable to its full scale counterpart! However, BB pellets are not the only ammo that radio control tanks are capable of shooting. It's possible to purchase remote control tanks for laser tag battler via IR and even water guns!
Don't be limited to what you can buy off a shelf! To keep a child's interest perhaps consider purchasing RC tanks that can be upgraded. Many standard radio control tank parts are available such as metal tracks and upgrades! However, you can also add on spy cameras, laser sites and more powerful guns yourself with a little more imagination. These are the things that hold a child's imagination and promote the longevity of toys in an age where most toys especially RC toys are considered disposable. RC tanks make a wonderful present for children and are sure to capture their imagination for years to come.
